Live music brings life to your private or corporate event.
Corporations: Lite guitar-jazz provides just the right level of sophistication for your next formal event, reception, or cocktail hour. Dan provides the volume-controlled excitment of live music without the bulk, burden, or expense of a live pianist - but if you'd like a pianist (or more: The SyraCats) let me know!
Weddings: Make your wedding uniquely yours by featuring the guitar! I can provide light music prior to the ceremony. I can present alternatives to the standard processional, featuring formal selections such as "Pachelbel's Canon." Additionally, I can prepare accompaniment for friends or family members who may sing as part of the ceremony. Truly a one-of-a-kind ceremony!
Receptions: As with other formal events, solo guitar playing can be the perfect backdrop for your wedding reception.
Subs, Studio, Accompaniment: I can meet practically all of your guitar-related musical needs. I've played professionally in all settings, from clubs to the studio, from enormous festival events to the Catholic Cathedral in Syracuse.
It's likely that I know your setlist, and I CAN read your guitar charts. I've performed with Nancy Kelly and the Jazzuits, the Fredonia Jazz Ensemble, Brass Exchange, Joanna Collins, Street Corner, Entourage and many others... often on short notice. When the gig counts, I'm the guitar player you want standing behind you. Why not give me a call?
I am the leader of the the lite-jazz quartet The SyraCats, and the lead guitarist for the 8-piece horn band Brass Exchange. Check out the sounds page for more!
